the Nutritionist Nurse

Laura Bradford is the owner of NURTRITIONSM Health Counseling, a business that

takes its name from the fact that she is both a Registered Nurse and a Registered Dietitian; in addition she is a Certified Diabetes Educator.  Laura has tailored her

 education and experience to pursue her passion of helping clients with lifestyle change, risk modification, and disease management.  She holds Masters degrees in both professions, with specialities of cardiac rehabilitation and diabetes education.

 She has over twenty cumulative years experience as a health professional, working

in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and in home care. 

 

NURTRITIONSM provides individual and group counseling and services to persons with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity, hypertension, osteoporosis, and to those interested in healthy living and workplace wellness.  Laura is member of: 

 
American Dietetic Association and its practice groups:
     1)  Diabetes Care and Education
     2)  Nutritionist Entrepreneurs
     3)  Nutrition in Complementary Care
 

 

Nourishing Journey

 Life is a journey in which we all seek nourishment of some form:  food, beverage, spirit, caring, mattering.  We also journey toward learning and improvement, because that is what life calls us to do.  Everyone has their own gifts, strengths, style - and timetable.  Change will come in its rightful time.  We can improve our health and enjoy happinesss regardless of our size or illness.
